Sharing GIFs on WhatsApp application:
In case, you want to share the GIF images then there are major three possibilities.
You can download the GIF image from Google or from any other third-party website and then you can share.
You can directly search it on the WhatsApp application then you can share it.
Last but not least, you can convert a video, either recorded or existing into a gif, and then you can share.
Let’s understand all three ways.
1. Share GIF image after download:
You can download the GIF image either from Google or you can also download it from any other third-party source.
Once the image is downloaded you need to open your WhatsApp application.
Once the application opens, now you need to go to the chat where you want to share that GIF.
Now you need to click on the attachment like an icon you’ll find.
Make sure to hit that and then click on the gallery-like icon.
When you’ll click on that, it’ll ask you to select the image.
Now you need to select that image and click on the share button.
But before sharing the GIF, you can edit it.
You can add the emoji, you can add a caption, you can even put your location, and you can trim that image as well.

2. Share GIFs directly from the WhatsApp application:
In case, if you don’t want to share the GIF image after downloading it from the internet then you can share it directly from WhatsApp itself.
In order to share the GIF image from the WhatsApp application itself, make sure to open the application.
Now you need to select the chat where you want to share the image.
Once selected, you need to click on the attachment like an icon you’ll find at the bottom right.
When you’ll click on that icon, it’ll ask you to select the image.
Make sure not to click on that. Instead of that, you’ll see a search bar.
Make sure to click on that.
When you’ll click on the search bar, it’ll ask you to search for the GIF.
Now you need to search the keyword.
After selecting the GIF image, make sure to send the image.
3. Convert video into GIF:
In case, if you have a video and you want to share the part of that video as a GIF image then you need to follow certain steps.
In order to share the GIF image, make sure to open the WhatsApp application.
Once the application opens, now you need to select the contact where you want to share the image.
Once selected, now you need to click on the attachment like an icon.
When you’ll click on that, it’ll ask you to select the GALLERY option.
Make sure to hit that button and then you need to select the video you want to share a GIF image.
Now you need to select that video and you need to click on the GIF option you’ll find at the top.
Make sure to hit that button and convert your part of the video into a GIF.
After that, you can share that GIF image with that person.
