Koo platform has declared that it surpassed over 7600 high-profile people and more than 50 million downloads.

The users include millions of students, teachers, leaders, poets, actors, writers, entrepreneurs, artists, etc. who actively post content in their local languages.

It's a micro-blogging platform where users can post content in their local languages.

The platform is available in 10 languages. The languages are Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Assamese, Bengali, and English.

This proves the demand for the multi-lingual platform here in India. The user base is growing so fast and the platform is actively used by many people in their local languages.

Koo was launched in March 2020 and the platform grew so fast that it took little to no time.

Radhakrishna the founder and CEO said the company continues to build such technology that helps to connect people in their local mindset.

Koo is backed by Tiger Global and early-stage investors like Accel, Kalaari Capital, Blume Ventures, and Dream incubator.

In February this year, Koo raised $10 million through Indian family offices. The investors included Capsier Venture Partner, Ravi Modi Family Trust, Ashneer Grover, FBC Venture Partners, Adventz Finance, etc, according to regulatory filings.
